Garlic Chutney | Vada Pav Chutney

Garlic chutney is very versatile and all-purpose chutney in all over India. Garlic chutney can be made dry or wet. This is wet garlic chutney version which is mostly used for dabeli & vada pav.  This is made with freshly grated coconut and is for immediate use.



INGREDIENTS: 

Garlic chopped ..................... ¼  Cup
Oil ............................................ 1 tsp.
Roasted skinless peanut  ....  2 Tbsp.
Fresh shredded coconut ...... ¼  Cup
Red chili powder .................. ½ Tbsp.
Tamarind paste ....................... ½ tsp.
Salt ............................... As per taste
Water .............................  As needed

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In oil roast, garlic for minutes on low flame then keeps it aside for cool down.
  2. In blender jar combine rest of the ingredients along with roasted garlic and grind. Add water gradually as needed and make a smooth paste kind consistency.
  3. Transfer to the container and enjoy with vada pav/dabeli.
