Besan Laddoo | Gram Flour Laddoo

Besan laddoo is very famous sweet in all over India. It is made during special occasions and festivals. This awesome sweet made from besan, ghee, sugar and cardamom powder. This is very similar to Gujarati sweet Magaj. So here is an easy and quick recipe for Besan laddoo.



INGREDIENTS: for 18-20 laddoos

Besan(Gram) Coarse .. 1½ Cup
Besan(gram flour) .........  ½ Cup
Sugar ...........................  1½ Cup
Ghee ...............................  1 Cup
Cardamom Powder ..........  1 tsp.
Almond Chopped .......... ¼ Cup

FOR garnishing:

Almond Crushed ..........  2 Tbsp.
Pistachio Crushed ........  2 Tbsp.
Ghee ............................  1 Tbsp.

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan mix the besan(gram flour) coarse in it and stir continuously on medium heat.
  2. After 5-10 minutes once besan coarse flour becomes light pink color, add besan(gram flour) to it and stir continuously till it becomes golden brown color.Take it off from heat and let it cool.
  3. Once mixture comes to room temperature or little warm then add sugar and cardamom powder in it. Also, add almond chopped and mix it well.
  4. Take ¼ cup of mixture in hand and shape it in round laddoo. Repeat same for remaining mixture.
  5. Take warm ghee in a small bowl and dip laddoo from one side then dip it in the crushed almond - pistachio mixture to garnish it. Prepare all laddoos like that.
