Dates Roll | Dates Dry Fruits Roll

Dates roll is sugar-free sweet and loaded with nutritional value. It makes a perfect snack or dessert which one can enjoy any time of the day. This healthy roll is very easy, quick and delicious sweet which can be served in the party, or on special occasions.



INGREDIENTS: for 20-25 rolls

Dates chopped ...................... 2 Cup
Ghee melted ........................ 2 Tbsp.
Almond ................................  3 Tbsp.
Cashew  ..............................  3 Tbsp.
Walnut .................................  2 Tbsp.
Pistachio  .............................  2 Tbsp.
Poppy seeds ......................   1 Tbsp.
Coconut powder ................... 2 Tbsp.


DIRECTIONS:
  1. In pan roast almond, cashew, walnut and pistachio on low flame for 2-3 minutes and keep it aside. After it cools down chop them into small pieces. 
  2. Heat the ghee in a pan. Add chopped dates and keep mixing till it becomes soft and starts coming together on a low flame. 
  3. Add chopped dry fruits, poppy seeds and mix well. Take it out from heat and keep it aside for sometimes till you can handle it with hand. 
  4. Take all mixture on a flat surface. Grease hands with ghee and make a thick roll. 
  5. Now gently roll it over coconut powder and keep it aside. After 1 hr cut it into 1 cm thick slices. 
  6. Enjoy this awesome and healthy dessert.
