Muli Bhaji | Radish Leaves Subji | Muli Leaves Subji with Gram Flour

Muli bhaji is a made from muli (radish) leaves, gram flour, and spices. It is easy to make and taste great with wheat roti and raita. You can also eat this bhaji alone without roti.




INGREDIENTS: for 3-4 servings

Muli bhaji chopped ................ 8 Cup
Gram flour .........................  ½  Cup
Oil ..................................  2 +3 Tbsp
Mustard seeds ......................  1 tsp.
​Cumin seeds .........................  1 tsp.
Red chili powder .............  ½ Tbsp
Turmeric powder .................. ¼ tsp.
Salt .............................  As per taste
​Water ...................................  1 Cup

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wash muli leaves thoroughly in running water for 2-3 times and cut them with its stems.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add besan and roast on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and let it cool for some time. 
  4. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan on medium heat.  Add mustard seeds, when its crackle, add cumin seeds and chopped muli leaves.
  5. Mix well and cook on medium heat till it half cooked.
  6. Add water, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.  
  7. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes more then add roasted besan and mix well.
  8. Cover it and let it cook till completely cooked.
  9. Take it out from heat and serve with wheat roti.
