Spring Beans Subji | Green Beans Subzi

Spring beans or Green beans subji is very delicious and healthy. In this dish, spring beans cooked in very less oil with spices. Olive oil and chopped garlic give additional flavor to the subji. It is served with wheat roti.



INGREDIENTS: for 2-3 servings

Spring beans chopped ..........  4 Cup
Oil .........................................  2 Tbsp.
Garlic chopped .....................  2 Tbsp.
Mustard seeds .........................  1 tsp.
Cumin seeds ...........................  1 tsp.
Red chili powder .................. ½ Tbsp.
Turmeric powder ..................... ¼ tsp.
Kasoori methi .......................  2 Tbsp.
Salt ...............................  As per taste


DIRECTIONS:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds crackle, add cumin seeds, garlic chopped, asafoetida and chopped beans and mix it well.
  2. Put the lead on and let it cook on medium heat until beans are tender. Stir every few minutes to cook evenly and prevent burning.
  3. After beans, almost cook add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Cook 2-3 minutes more. In last add kasoori methi and mix it well.
  4. Then take it out from heat and serve hot with roti.
