Cereal is healthy but we don’t like to eat every day. It’s kind of boring, But not anymore. This cereal Chivda is so delicious that you want to eat each and every day. You can eat at the breakfast with tea or coffee or you can eat as a snack anytime. This is a healthy snack for kids also. For this Chivda, you need three kinds of cereal corn flakes, cheerios, and rice flakes. Sesame seeds, fennel seeds, peanuts, and spices make this Chivda so yummy...




INGREDIENTS: FOR 25 CUP CHIVDA

Oats cheerios ..................... 10 Cup 
Cornflakes ............................ 8 Cup 
Rice flakes ............................ 7 Cup
Oil .........................................½ Cup
Raw peanut .......................... 1 Cup
Sesame seeds .................... ¼ Cup

Fennel seeds ...................... 2 Tbsp
Dry curry leaves .................. ¼ Cup
Sugar .................................. 2 Tbsp.
Salt ............................... As needed
Turmeric powder ................. 1 Tbsp
Red chili powder ................. 2 Tbsp



DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat oil in the big pan on medium heat.  Add peanut and sauté’ until it turns crispy and golden color. Take it out from oil and keep it aside. 
  2. Crush dry curry leaves and add into the oil. 
  3. Now add sesame seeds, fennel seeds, salt, turmeric powder and mix well.  Then add cheerios, corn flakes, rice flakes into the oil and mix well. Roast on low heat for 2-3 minutes. 
  4. Turn off the heat. Add red chili powder, sugar, fried peanut and mix well.  
  5. Cereal Chivda is ready for serve.
