Walnut Halwa | Delicious Halwa | Akhrot Halwa

That's way Walnut halwa is special and different from other halwa. This halwa is made from walnuts, little suji, milk, ghee, and sugar. INGREDIENTS: for 3-4 servings
Crushed Walnut .............. 1 Cup
Suji coarse .................... ¼ Cup
Suji coarse .................... ¼ Cup
Ghee melted ................ ⅓ Cup
Sugar ........................... ½ Cup
Milk .............................. ½ Cup
Water ........................... ½ Cup
Cardamom powder .......... 1 tsp.
Raisin ........................... 1 Tbsp.
Raisin ........................... 1 Tbsp.
Sliced Almonds ............. 2 Tbsp.
DIRECTIONS:
- Mix ½ cup of milk with ½ cup of water in a pan. Add sugar and boil it.
- Heat the ghee in a thick bottom pan. Add suji into ghee and roast over medium heat. Roast for 3-4 minutes then add crushed walnuts. Mix well and Stir the mixture continuously till it becomes golden in color. It will take about 3-4 minutes.
- Once mixture roast properly and you can smell its aroma add ½ part of boiled milk mixture and stir it continuously. When mixture absorbs most of the milk, add remaining milk mixture.
- Stir the mixture continuously on low-medium heat till all the moisture has been absorbed and the ghee separates.
- When ghee starts coming out from the halwa, add cardamom powder, raisins and mix it well. Remove from the heat.
- Garnish with sliced almonds and serve.
