Vegetable Patties | Baked Vegetable Patties | Healthy Patties

These healthy patties made from flours, spices, and vegetables, with a soft interior and a crispy coating. Long squash and cucumber make these patties soft from inside and chickpea flour, rice flour, and jowar flour give crispness from outsides. In addition, these are baked not fried. So, make these simple, tasty and healthy snack and enjoy with tea/coffee.



INGREDIENTS: for 20 patties

Shredded Long squash ...…... 2 Cups
Shredded Cucumber ............... 1 Cup
Shredded Carrot .................... ½ Cup
Jowar flour .............................. ¼ Cup
Rice flour ................................ ¼ Cup
Gram flour ............................... ¼ Cup
Oil .......................................... 3 Tbsp
Salt .................................. As needed
Sugar .................................... ½ Tbsp
Ajowan seeds ........................... 1 tsp.
Sesame seeds ....................... 3 Tbsp
Red chili powder .................... 1 Tbsp
Turmeric powder ...................... ¼ tsp.
Oil .................................... As needed



DIRECTIONS: 
  1. Squeeze out all the water from grated vegetables and keep it aside. 
  2. In a big bowl take shredded long squash, shredded cucumber, shredded carrot, jowar flour, gram flour, rice flour, sesame seeds, ajowan seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, sugar, and salt as per taste and mix it well. Now, add vegetable water as needed and make a medium soft dough.
  3. Divide dough into 20 equal parts. Grease both hand with oil. Take one part on hand and make a ball out of it and gently flatten them into a round shape. Prepare all patties like this.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  5. Arrange all patties on a greased baking tray. Spread oil on the front side of patties with the brush. Bake them one side for 15 minutes then remove the tray from the oven and flip patties.
  6. Once again apply oil on the front side of patties and bake them again for 10 minutes or until it became golden brown in color on both sides.
  7. Enjoy Vegetable patties with tea/coffee.
