Masala Oats Idli / Quinoa Vaghar Idli / Spicy Oats-Quinoa Idli

There are so many ways to eat idli. Because idli is simple and plain, you need something to spice it up. You can eat with any kind of chutney or with Sambar. But there is one best way to eat idli is to add tadka. Masala Tadka adds taste and flavor into simple oats idli and makes it very very yummy.




INGREDIENTS: for 3-4 servings


Oats Idli pieces ................  5 Cups
Oil .....................................  3 Tbsp
Cumin seeds ....................  1½ tsp.
Dry curry leaves .............   ½ Tbsp
Turmeric powder .................  1 tsp.
Salt .....................................  Pinch
Black pepper powder ……...  1 tsp.




DIRECTIONS:
  1. Heat oil in thick bottom pan.  Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Crushed dry curry leaves with your hand and add into oil.
  3. In the last add idli pieces and mix well.
  4. Saute for minute then add black pepper powder and mix well.
  5. Remove from the heat and serve.
